We celebrated Sadie's birthday of the course of a few days. The Friday before her birthday she had a small party at our house with some of her neighborhood friends. The party seem to last the entire next day, luckily it moved to the neighbors house across the street.
Since the kids didn't have school on Monday, the day before her birthday, Nanny and Papa took Sadie out to breakfast and shopping to spend her birthday money. She came home and gave us a fashion show.
We also celebrated Sadie's birthday at home that night. We invited Nanny and Papa over for cake, ice cream and presents.
Sadie wanted to play Thimble, a water guessing game that Nanny wasn't so good at and was the wettest at the end of the game.
Sadie and I attempted our first "Cake Boss" cake, a lady bug. I never claimed to be a good baker nor a cake decorator.
