Ellie's science project this year was to make a Rube Goldberg machine. A complex machine that would do a simple task. When Ellie told me about her project I said great, but please keep it simple. Well according to her this was simple compared to what she was imagining.
Ellie decided she wanted to make a machine that crushed a can and then sling it into a recycling box. I thought no way, Laron had no doubt. Ellie designed the project completely and found all the stuff to do it. Her helper for the most part was Tommy, he couldn't get enough of it. She designed the machine and Laron helped her fine tune it. Ellie couldn't just video the project she actually had to take it to her class. Good thing both her and Luke have big guns because it was huge, awkward and heavy to carry. Ellie not only got an A, she got 100%! She said she loves Physics and can't wait until she takes it in High School. Whose kids is this is? Way to go Ellie!
