I always have mixed emotions on the first day of school. I am so grateful that I don't have the responsibility of teaching my kids, because lets face it we would all be on a low level reading and math skills. I would much rather go play. The problem with the first day of school it seriously limits our play time!
So here we go with the first day of school.
Lucie will be going to the neighborhood preschool where each mom takes a week at a time. Lucie did this a little last year and had a blast so we decided to do it again this year.
Sadie will be in the fourth grade! Can you believe it? She has Ms. Norris this year who by the way was Miss Lehi in 2009, I think Sadie will have a great year!
Tommy will be in first grade this year! All day! I am going to miss him during lunch! His teacher is Mrs. Saxton, who really loves pigs!
This will be Luke's last year in elementary school. The sixth grade year is pretty exciting and he is really excited. He has Ms. Cook this year who seems to expect a lot from Luke, but I think he is up to the challenge!
Ellie is in the 8th grade and taking several fun classes, her favorite, science with her favorite teacher, Mr. Southworth, again this year. She is also taking Algebra, Orchestra, Spanish, Peer Leadership and Art. She is excited for this year.
The shot of the school bus is my favorite, it is fun to see all the neighborhood kids grow each year.
I didn't do Ellie's bus stop, because let's face it, she's in Jr. High!
