I am so excited that my garden is starting to produce. I had to go ahead and harvest all the radishes and I really couldn't think of what to do with all of them. Then I remember a friend of mine telling me any veggie saluted in butter is yummy so I decided to try it. I also decided to add some Swiss chard. It was awesome! My little Ammie (2 years old) had about 3 servings. I served it over rice and then for a little protein and filler I made a half dozen deviled eggs. I am pretty sure I feed our family of 8 for about a dollar.
Our strawberry's are starting to ripen and we have a good bunch of blueberries. The raspberries are a little slow this year but it has been a pretty cold summer so far. As for my veggie garden, I have a few green tomatoes and a few buds on my zucchini. My cabbage is starting to form and my broccoli s getting bigger by the day. The weeds are doing great! I have been weeding every day this week and boy I think they are kicking my trash! Anyways there is my update
