As of mid June, we are finally hitting Spring here in Northern Utah, but regardless of the weather soccer season always starts in March and continues into May.
This was the first season our Lucie was old enough to play soccer. It made for a bit crazier schedule but look at her face, she is fierce!
Tommy is getting quite good. He loves soccer! He has a good concept of the game and has the attitude that he will spare his life for the ball! Many times I had to close my eyes as he went after it, but he seemed to survive each game.
Sadie is really fun to watch. This was her first year playing since she was three. Her dance skills seem to come out more then her aggression but when she got going she was pretty good at getting the ball she also has a fabulous foot on her and can boot the ball half way down the field.
Luke's games were on the foot hills of Alpine, I think they played in the snow or rain more than not. He also loves soccer. His coach said that if someone was able to dribble the ball 20 times he would either give them 20 dollars or tickets to a Real game. Well Luke was able to do it and is going to a Real game soon. He had a good season and this Fall his team is going competitive.
Ellie played for the Rage Soccer Club this year. It was fun to watch her grow and learn. She is getting so good at ball handling. She takes a lot of beatings because of her size but she is quite the little fighter. Her favorite position is halfback.
So you are asking is there a break? Nope, Ellie and Luke will continue practices and camps throughout the summer, but if I wasn't on the soccer field I would probably be just in my house bored...
